Memory is the battlefield.

A new comic universe shaped by power, identity, and erased history.

In a world built on manufactured truths, XIAI explores rebellion, control, and what survives when the past is taken away.

Blending Afrofuturist influence with memory-espionage, this is a story where memory itself has become a weapon.

THE STORY

ONCE, HUMANITY COULD WALK INTO MEMORY…

Through rhythm, frequency, and ritual, humans accessed XIAI — a shared consciousness where knowledge, history, and identity flowed freely. But when the alien Schaon took control, memory itself became dangerous.

In the isolated superstate of Nation, art is censored, culture is erased, and those who remember are branded extremists.

Aevi, a quiet artist searching for meaning, begins to experience visions she doesn’t understand — fragments of a forgotten past and a world beyond reality. When she is detained by the state, her mind becomes the final battleground.

Hunted by a Schaon enforcer and protected by a Bakari soldier with his own scars, Aevi must learn the rules of memory before it’s erased forever — and decide what remembering truly costs.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT

BAKARI KAI

A displaced soldier from the jungle regions of Nation.
The last of a culture the government erased and rebranded as terrorists. He protects Aevi not because of prophecy — but because he’s already lost everything else.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT

BAKARI MOEN

A guide who exists between memory and reality. She understands XIAI better than anyone — and must bring memory back to humanity, before it’s lost forever.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT

AEVI

An artist living on the margins of society. Drawn to images she can’t explain. Her memories are fractured — but powerful. She doesn’t know who she is yet. But the world is afraid she might remember.

CHARACTER SPOTLIGHT

SCHAON RAWDON

An enforcer of forgetting.
A hunter of high-frequency minds. He believes memory must be controlled — and that XIAI belongs to the Schaon alone.

WHY XIAI?
WHY NOW?

XIAI is a story about identity, culture, and who gets to decide what we remember. In a world flooded with misinformation, erased histories, and forced narratives, XIAI asks a simple question:

What happens when remembering becomes a threat to power?

This isn’t just science fiction.
It’s a reflection.
